Passengers may be picked up curbside at Terminal 1 and at the lower (arrivals) level of Terminal 2. Follow roadway signs as you approach the airport. You may use RDU's Cell Phone Lot to wait for your arriving passenger. Both terminal curbs are designated for active loading and unloading online.
Travelers should arrive to RDU at least two hours before domestic flights to allow for potential roadway congestion, find parking and complete the airline check-in and security screening process. International travelers should arrive at least three hours in advance of their departure.
If you're not checking luggage, the carrier advises you to arrive at the airport at least 60 minutes before your scheduled departure time. If you're checking luggage, it's 90 minutes. For international flights, give yourself two hours, says United.

Delta Air Lines uses Terminal 2 at Raleigh Durham Airport (RDU).
Guests should book parking at least 24 hours in advance using RDU's online booking system. The entrance gate opens with a QR code; and a license plate reader automatically opens the gate at exit.

To find out your flight's terminal, you generally just need to check your airline confirmation or flight itinerary. This can be found either in your email confirmation, or on the airline's website closer to the day of departure.
You can find the terminal number on your e-mail confirmation when you first book a flight. The gate number is typically offered when you check in for your flight online or in person at the airport. THE LOUNGE
Availability: The departure lounge is in Security hold area and controlled by security agencies. The access is permitted once passenger is able to check-in and able to get through security.
If you plan to meet them inside the airport, park in short-term parking and wait outside of their terminal. Alternatively, meet them curbside if you don't want to go inside the airport. If you aren't able to pick your traveler up, you can schedule a ride to be ready for your arriving party when they land.
It is usually easy to get an escort pass. Simply go with your relative or friend to the check-in counter, request a pass, and present your photo ID. You can call ahead to get escort pass information, but you will probably be told that issuance of escort passes is determined locally by each airline.

Which terminal does Alaska Airlines use?
As of March 14, 2019, our ticket counters, kiosks, curbside check-in, and baggage office are now located in Terminal 2. All Alaska Airlines flights continue to operate out of the G Concourse, gates G4 and G6. Both the Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 security checkpoints offer access to the G Concourse.
